With a record 155,000 square feet of exhibit space reserved by nearly 350 companies back in December 2014, Modex 2016 will continue the show’s expansion in both solution offerings and popularity. Show sponsor MHI anticipates a total of 800 exhibits in the 250,000-square-foot space.
“Mirroring what we’ve seen here at ProMat, the success of the Modex space-draw clearly indicates that supply chain solution providers have a positive economic outlook,” said George Prest, CEO of MHI. “It sends a decisive message about both the value of the Modex expo and the health of the industry.”
Modex is scheduled to be held April 4-7, 2016 at Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center, and will feature solutions ranging from traditional, manual equipment to computerized, automated systems and information technologies. The show will again co-locate with the 20,000-square-foot Supply Chain & Transportation USA expo, showcasing transportation, logistics and real estate products and services.
“We anticipate another 20,000 square feet to be sold by the end of ProMat,” noted Tom Carbott MHI’s senior VP of exhibitions. “We’re now on our third edition of Modex, and we’ve continued to take the feedback from attendees and exhibitors to create even more value.”
ProMat 2015 is scheduled to be held March 23-26, 2014 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete ProMat 2015 coverage.
