Storage: Valley Craft acquired

Valley Craft Industries, Inc., a company newly formed by Minnesota businessman Dennis Campbell, announced yesterday that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of Valley Craft, Inc., a former division of Liberty Diversified International (LDI).

Valley Craft, a leading metal fabrication company, produces a portfolio of custom and proprietary material handling and storage solution products used in a wide variety of industrial and commercial applications. Valley Craft also works with OEMs as a supplier of fabricated metal components and sub-assemblies.

“With its great location, experienced and committed employees, and loyal customers – many of whom have been with them for more than 30 years – Valley Craft is a great example of what’s right with manufacturing in America,” new owner Dennis Campbell said.

Under its new leadership, Valley Craft Industries will focus on growing the business by: 1. Producing quality products that make life better, safer, and more efficient; 2. Introducing innovative new products that satisfy customer needs; 3.Developing new channels into new markets; and 4. continuously improving all aspects of the business.

Campbell confirmed that all presently active employees of LDI’s Valley Craft Division have been offered employment with the new company.

LDI, which owned the business since 1979, recently determined that Valley Craft was not well aligned with its strategic vision.

Campbell brings extensive experience to the company having managed domestic and international businesses in a variety of industries including automotive, power generation, aerospace, electronics, plastics, capital equipment and visual communications.
