Diesel FD701 pneumatic tire forklift

Perkins 854F diesel engine delivers 18% more fuel efficiency in forklift

The 15,500-pound capacity diesel FD701 pneumatic tire forklift truck model by Mitsubishi Forklift is built with a high-performance Perkins 854F Tier 4 Final diesel engine.

The 3.4-liter turbo-charged, four-cylinder engine provides an 18% increase in fuel efficiency over the previous generation. Using the fuel saver mode on the truck lowers fuel consumption by up to 14%, while maintaining up to 95% of overall productivity for greater cost savings. The engine also incorporates diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) after-treatment technology that is maintenance-free for the life of the engine, reducing downtime.

For operator comfort, the vehicle includes cowl-mounted, three-way hydraulic control valves, a full-suspension seat, elevated exhaust and rubber-mounted components to reduce noise and vibration.
