KNAPP Logistics AutomationKiSoft workforce management system
Workforce management system simulates effect of inventory relocation on picking times
To complement a WMS, WCS or ERP system, Knapp’s KiSoft workforce management system calculates target times (planned times) for incoming tasks in the warehouse.
It also makes performance-related bonus calculations and optimizes routes in the warehouse using simulations. Due to the software’s modular structure, customer-specific warehouse tasks—such as picking or forklift activity—can be easily depicted at any time in a parameter illustration. An analysis of the process and configuration of the various modules for the target time calculation is carried out during system installation.
To analyze how warehouse modifications or relocation of goods will affect picking times, the software simulates the effects of changes on target times through simulation based on historical movement data.
