Enhancing lean manufacturing practices, RMT’s ADAM autonomous delivery and manipulation AGV is an intelligent mobile robot that transports work-in-process and finished goods between locations.
The system navigates in a complex, random origin to random destination production environment, connecting islands of automation with automated transport between random production cells. This makes it ideal for just-in-time delivery applications, while seamlessly adjusting to layout and facility changes.
The unit navigates around fixed and moving objects without guide wires, reflectors or transponders. A programmable sound system feature includes interactive voice messages and a mobile vehicle in-motion jukebox.
