Cannon EquipmentLine of hand trucks and components
Hand trucks, components debut
A new line of hand trucks and components from Cannon Equipment include platform trucks, keg trucks, bottled water trucks and curb docks. In addition, the handles, frames, noses and wheels are interchangeable with other manufacturers’ hand trucks.
The hand trucks feature heavy-duty frames that hold up to 600 pounds, multiple handle and nose plate choices, extruded aluminum wheel brackets with a lifetime guarantee against cracking or breaking, and 45,000-pound tensile strength axles that won’t bend or fatigue under heavy loads.
Optionally, stair climbers with thick, reversible wear strips may be added. All equipment is protected by a two-year warranty.

Designer and Manufacturer of Merchandising and Distribution Equipment
While Cannon Equipment was officially formed in 1981, the companies that were acquired to create Cannon Equipment have much longer histories, dating back to 1941. Cannon Equipment was officially formed when the Distribution Equipment Division (DED) of IMI Cornelius merged its manufacturing operations in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, into Point-of-Sales, a beverage display manufacturer based in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. A new company emerged, named Cannon Equipment, and became part of the IMI family.
Cannon is now a premier designer and manufacturer of stocked and custom material handling carts, cages, racks, front-end-merchandising fixtures and displays, point-of-purchase fixtures, dairy automation equipment and newspaper automation equipment.
