Device automates standard forklifts, improves AGV control

For automating standard forklifts or improving vehicle control on AGVs, Kollmorgen’s compact CVC600 vehicle controller is offered. Based on industry-standard technology that can handle any vehicle type, wheel configuration and navigation technology—including laser, spot, range, EyeWay, magnetic tape or inductive wire—the controller measures 49.2 x 19.7 x 77.6 inches.

It supports WLAN, LAN, CAN and RS232/422/485 communication for flexible customization and implementation.

The system works with 24 to 48 volt battery-powered vehicles and features built-in under voltage, over voltage and reverse polarity protection. Energy efficient, the controller consumes a maximum of 5 Watts of power and is rated for use in temperatures ranging from -4 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit
