Quality, cycle count applications for tablets, smartphones

To support the production part approval process and make collecting sample data fast (without paper), the Quality Inspection Capture application from Guardian works with Android tablet and smartphone devices. It features an easily configurable user interface, and allows data to be entered by touch screen keyboard, voice input or bar code scanning.

Part, job and sample specification information is pulled into the app from enterprise backend applications and use of drop down lists to select the correct requirements of the information to be displayed. Also offered is a Cycle Count app and Mobilize-IT middleware server.

The Java-based virtual server runs on almost any operating system and provides an application server and a Web server. Its relational database and tools communicate with backend systems for faster and easier data integration.
