Crown Equipment
QuickPick Remote wireless device for forklifts

null
Low-level order picking powered by remote control

The QuickPick Remote wireless device by Crown Equipment allows an operator to advance a forklift to the next pick location without taking the driver’s seat.

Instead, the operator walks alongside the vehicle in the optimum pick position. The device is offered in two configurations: a transceiver glove with a thumb-actuated button, or a transceiver trigger worn on two fingers. The wireless remote includes a horn and brake buttons for additional control. Secure radio-frequency communications transmit between the device and a transceiver tower mounted on the vehicle.

For safety, integrated lasers detect obstacles in the truck’s path and trigger the brakes to prevent a collision, while proximity sensors detect the vehicle’s distance from objects (such as racks or products), prompting a travel path adjustment.
