DS457 fixed mount imager and MK3000 micro kiosk

Two new imaging units are offered from Motorola: the DS457 fixed mount imager and MK3000 micro kiosk, both with 1D and 2D scanning capabilities and the ability to read bar codes from mobile phones.

Compact and ideal for zero footprint point-of-sale use with mounting off the workspace, the DS457 comes in four models and enables high-volume scanning of traditional and mobile bar codes, as well as high-density bar codes and direct part marks.

It is also ideal for confirmation of correct part use and to meet track-and-trace regulations. The MK3000 micro kiosk functions as a workforce management tool for employees. Applications include item look-up, item location, how-to tutorials, and employee time clock.
