Honeywell’s Thor vehicle-mount computer features an AtomT processor that runs a dual operating system of either Windows Embedded Standard or Windows Compact Embedded and includes full-screen and full keypad.
It has been certified for use with RedPrairie’s warehouse management system, yard management system, and transportation management system for end-to-end visibility to handle changes in demand, exceptions and multiple suppliers.
The device’s field-replaceable front panel can be changed in minutes with a screwdriver and maintains IP66 protection against dust and water. To allow the computer to be removed from its vehicle-mount, a quick mount smart dock unit enables it to be transferred from forklift to forklift as maintenance is required or as usage demands.
