The Wireless Battery Identification Device (WBID) monitors battery and charger usage for an entire fleet through continuous data collection. Data is transmitted wirelessly at a range of up to 500 feet with ZigBee radio or over DC cables to a single point for download from multiple units simultaneously.
For data analysis and report generation, the device can be used with the supplier’s DataLink3 software. Users review data and customize reports in either a graph or spreadsheet format with the option to toggle between views.
Views include event- or graphic-based reports from a 30-day summary overview or in five-minute samplings for additional details that help identify a problem.
